It Never Gets Old

Getting to meet new people every day! I love helping people look beyond what is already there to see the potential of what can be. I don’t get tired of helping them find just the right windows that fit their home.

Part of the Team

One thing I love about Houston Window Experts is that there is a true team mentality here- everybody has my back. If I happen to drop the ball, someone else will pick it up instead of letting it roll on until it gets lost. Better customer service is the direct result.

I Don’t Know Why

Children and animals flock to me. When I am meeting people in their homes to talk about window projects, and they have children, more often than not I will feel a tug on my sleeve and hear a small voice say, “Want to see my room?”

Three Things I Love

  1. My two granddaughters!
  2. Mexican food- I seriously could eat it every day
  3. Coffee with sugar (not sugar substitute!)

One Thing I Don’t Love

Lima beans, yuck.

“Everything is Awesome”

This song from The Lego Movie keeps me inspired throughout the day. “Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you’re a part of a team. Everything is awesome, when you’re living out a dream.” Laugh if you will, but listen to the song and it just might change your day too. It’s all about a state of mind, and I like to keep mine positive.

Do It Yourself

I am into crafty kind of stuff, and am a do-it-yourself kind of person. No one told me I couldn’t, so I do it all.

Green Thumb

If I have a superpower it is making things grow. I love my hands in the dirt! I dig plants, gardening, and watching things grow. I like landscaping projects and figuring out where things go. Right now I am really into container gardening.

Things Went South Really Quickly

I was born in Buffalo, New York, and grew up there. When I was 9 years old, we came to visit some relatives in Texas. When we got back home, there was a blizzard going on. The For Sale sign went up in the front yard the next day, and I’ve lived in Houston ever since. My two brothers live here also. My daughter Christina and my son Michael both live in Dallas and try to convince me to move there, but I tell them they were the ones who moved away!

In Through the Out Door

At my house, I have a little chihuahua named Rosie and a little kitten named Lucy. Lucy gets into absolutely everything. She recently discovered Rosie’s dog door, and now runs in and out of it constantly.
