I’m so glad that I hired Houston Window Experts to replace and update my whole house with new modern design featured windows, and they did such a great job, that I hired them again when I decided I wanted a new front door to match my new windows. Now, my modern update is complete with a matching elegant front door, installed by master installers. Josh came up with an idea to change the configuration of my windows to showcase my backyard feature, and it looks amazing. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Josh in 2 home projects now in the past 8 months or so. One, we replaced all of our windows in our home, and most recently, we knocked down an exterior wall and inserted a 16-foot sliding door and windows to go into the backyard. In both instances, Josh has been SUPER responsive, detailed with his estimates and helping us understand what the project would entail and that is greatly appreciated by me and my wife. We just had 31 Marvin windows replaced by Houston Window Experts and I cannot recommend them more highly! We are very particular and wanted the job done right - the first time. We met with 3 companies prior to taking on this project. Josh won our business by a landslide with his commitment to quality and promise to see the job through to the very end. Josh explained that they use their own crews, oversee it all and stand by their work. He did not disappoint. From the design process to ordering and then installation and painting - the job was done with professionalism and quality. The entire process - start to full completion was 5 days. They installed all 31 windows in a day and a half and then spent 3 FULL days fine tuning and painting. The construction crew - led by Brandon was amazing, the painters - led by Salvador were meticulous. The job wasn’t done until we were 100% satisfied. Windows are not the thing I was looking forward to spending money on but we needed them replaced and we wanted them done right... I’m am SOOOO happy we went with Houston Window Experts!!read more

I’m leaving this five star review because of their honesty and integrity, I did not end up being a customer of this company, at least not today. I recently had my patio French doors damaged during an attempted break in, and thought I would need to have my door replaced, and had concerns about the security of these doors. I had a phone/video consult with Calvin (I think that was your name, if I got that wrong, sorry buddy! If you see this, correct me.) and he was kind enough to let me know that my existing doors appeared to actually be of fairly high quality and secure, and that the damage could be repaired, and a replacement would not make sense for me. He was even good enough to pass along the contact details of a repairman he recommended. So, based on my positive experience, you can expect that this company will deal with you honestly and with integrity. While I didn’t hire this company, I felt the need to leave an honest review. Josh was our salesman and he took the time to thoroughly assess our windows and wants. I felt that he was giving my house and myself 100% dedication to the job. The only thing that kept us from hiring HWE was the turnaround time and a somewhat smaller quote. I picked Houston Window Experts based off of reviews and our salesman. Well I have to say the reviews were spot on. The entire process was smooth. The staff is professional. There was a difference that I could sense in this company. Our salesman was great .The windows and the installation was absolutely second to none. They look absolutely fabulous. I’m particular and I’m flat out impressed. I have not met the owner, but when the experience and the final result is this good..That comes from the top. I can’t leave this review without saying. I would be willing to bet there is a Christian undertone or overtone in the training of this staff. You could sense kindness . I can’t say enough about this company. I had Jeff install new replacement windows in our home about 9 years ago when he had just formed his company. His service and professionalism was exceptional then as it still is now. I purchased a second home in the Austin area last year that was in need of replacement windows and wasn't satisfied with the local companies so I called Jeff to see if he could do the job or to refer someone in the area. He sent Jeremy, his field manager to Austin, gave me the quote which I accepted which was also the lower price from the other bids,when the windows arrived at his Houston location his crew was sent over for the install. The first window company we called, one that you hear adds for on the radio, gave us a very hard sale. They priced us for windows way above our price range, and did not seem interested in working with us. The Houston Window Experts were different. The sales person worked with us to find windows within our price range. The contract process and negotiation was simple. The install was fast and the product and install were excellent. We recently had the pleasure of Houston Window Experts install new windows. The experience could not have been better. The windows are great but the installation was perfect. We have watched neighbors have windows installed and we feel sorry for them. We had over 50 windows installed so we had multiple crews multiple days. Each and every person was courteous, professional and most important VERY respectful of our stuff. My experience in having 3 houses built and many remodels that doesn't just happen. That is a culture thing that is started at the ownership level. Each person was proud of their job. As we look at our finished product it is perfect. The salesperson, she was very helpful in pointing out options and not just to do a "replacement". A small thing but very important is the quality of the caulking job that was done. I have seen none better. I could say more but I think that you get the idea of the service and finished product we got from Houston Window Experts.read more

This is the third project I have done with Houston Window Experts (HWE) and I am very impressed with the people, their professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail. Other than having to spend a lot of time negotiating the price I would not hesitate to recommend HWE to anyone needing window replacements or new windows in a new build. HWE is one of those companies you can trust to do as promised and work that is of the best quality. They are also very responsive when you have questions or need anything extra. Houston Window Experts exceeded my expectations. I was dreading having to find a window company that I could trust. Everyone I spoke to was kind and friendly. Wasn't pushy, didn't send me 5 text/emails a day or call me every hour. Josh was friendly and very knowledgeable. Even told me he wasn't 100% the issue I was having was necessarily a window issue and advised me to look into other issues that might be the cause of my leaky windows. I was surprised and appreciative of his honesty. After weeks/months of meeting with different contractors re: my leaky windows. I found out that it was a combination of issues and replacing the window would help. Scheduled a window install, crew arrived early. They were courteous and covered my floor and furniture. They worked throughout the morning. The new window is so crystal clear you can't even tell I have a window! Left the inside of the house clean. You really get what you pay for. Summary-excellent from product to service. We would definitely call again. I haven't seen such great customer service. Details below: ------------------------------------------------------------- We had three "sound proof" windows placed in our home last week. Overall, we were extremely pleased as the customer service delivered from purchase to installation was outstanding: The sound proof windows are absolutely wonderful. We live in the city and can no longer hear the trucks right behind our house backing up at 3AM. Our only regret is that we didn't do them earlier. Sales: Very patient as we decided which type of window and how many. We cancelled our order at one point (within the timeframe allowed) and there was not any pushback. In the end, we purchased two more windows and the bill went up about 10K but we would not have felt comfortable doing so had sales not been so patient and willing to help us make the best decision for us. They came to our house an extra time to ensure they had the right measurements. They were not at all pushy. We appreciated honesty in questions about the sound proof window. They knew what they were talking about and yet knew limitations, not trying to oversell a product. Installation crew: Proud of what they do and it shows. We had only three windows placed but the crew gave us red carpet service. There ended up to be a scratch on the window. They were straightforward about the issue, process, and plan. They went out of their way after a long day to find a painter for us to paint the frames and had him there the next day. The entire crew was very pleasant, polite, respectful and did a great job with the installation. They came out to evaluate the scratch, were straightforward, and said that it can't be fixed. He didn't try to cover up something. We appreciated his honesty. While out, the crew member fixed another window latch and ordered the needed part. Office staff: Clear, concise and we knew the plan. Very organized. Overall, the staff has individual roles but worked in a pleasant, organized, systematic fashion to provide an excellent service. We have not seen this service in such amount of time that we wanted to make sure you are aware of how good of a company and employees you have. It is great to see them take pride in what they do and the end result is a good product and happy customers. It's been great working with this company. We look forward to having more windows installed in the future.read more

This company stands behind their word. I had my whole house's windows replaced. There were a few issues, but upon me bringing them up, they came back and fixed everything. I would use them again because standing behind your work is huge! We had leaks during Harvey and this is why we got new Windows. Nothing has leaked since! They look great! I'm completely satisfied! Initial Contact: We bought a 20 year old house in the Energy Corridor with single-paned windows throughout and wanted to upgrade the windows to save on cooling bills and keep out traffic noise. We talked to friends and searched online to find window replacement companies with good reviews and testimonials. We had four or five companies come out to look at the job and that was when we met Josh. More so than other reps, Josh knew his products, competitors’ products, and most importantly what questions to ask us about our preferences that we didn’t even know to ask; such as, do we want mullions (grids) in the windows – more on that later. Josh taught us a lot about windows: UV treatment options, local code around which windows must be tempered, different types of operating windows, that in the U.S. the glass for all brands’ windows ultimately comes from only three companies, what a transom is, and much more. Josh also made us comfortable about Houston Window Experts as a company; local, not too large/small/new, have tenured and skilled installers. Negotiation: Comparing quotes, HWE’s was the most professionally presented with a separate price listed for each type of window and even a small diagram of the each window to illustrate the orientation and in what direction it will open. They did not offer the lowest quote to start with and even after “sharpening the pencil” they were still a little more expensive than other quotes. The process of discussing price was a low-drama affair and Josh communicated promptly and clearly. Taking all of the aspects into consideration, we decided to go with Houston Window Experts. Installation: Because the windows are custom-made, there is a few-week lag between when they are ordered and when they arrive. The windows arrived fairly close to the estimated time and were installed within days of their arrival. In my case, Jeremy led the installation crew. I made a special request to him that he get his best caulk-guy to lay the interior beads and they were indeed perfect! There was no damage to the interior or exterior of the house, which was a little surprising given the extent of the work that was performed. The only thing that I flagged after installation was that a couple of the screens on the larger windows were not 100% taught and Jeremy’s guys came back and addressed that the next day. Follow-up: Above, I mentioned how Josh had specifically asked us whether we wanted mullions in the windows. We had asked for no mullions, but a couple of months after the windows were replaced our Homeowners Association contacted us and informed us that mullions are mandatory. We were afraid that we might need to replace all of the windows that we had just installed! We appealed to the HoA, but they were inflexible. We reached out to Josh and he rescued us by sourcing some retro-fit mullions from the manufacturer (AMSCO). What’s more, he didn’t even charge us for them. And this was months after he had been paid. So I really consider that going above and beyond! Summary: If you are looking for window replacements for a rental property or an application where you don’t care about the final fit-and-finish, then there are cheaper non-custom options. But for your primary residence or where you do want quality work, we had a really good experience with Houston Window Experts.read more

Hello Jeff, My wife and I are so happy about the new windows and the team who did the work, that we decided to send you a note about it. To summarize, we will list the reasons for our happiness at the process and the result: 1. Our house is much quieter! We no longer hear the howling of the North wind hitting our bedroom window, or the barking dog across the drainage canal. 2. Now, instead of heat being sucked out of rooms via windows, the house maintains a more even temperature everywhere. My office, which would be much colder (or hotter in the summer), is now nearly the same temperature as the rest of the house--now only 1.5 degrees different. 3. Your team is, as the President would say, made up of "incredible people." They came, covered everything with tarps, performed the difficult, dangerous and dirty job of removing the old windows and in some cases cutting back drywall, with cheerful skill and pride in their work. Installation of the new windows was performed with careful skill and attention to detail. 4. Your people were happy to show me how they do what they do. Craftsmen are very interesting people. I learned a lot! 5. After hours of continuous hard work, the job was done, and most shocking to me of all was to see your team vacuuming and mopping my house! I never expected that! 6. The windows are beautiful and the installation matches the quality of the hardware. 7. The only downside of all of this, was that between Houston Window Experts and the IRS, our account was basically emptied out. But we will recover eventually. Thanks again. I did a lot of research in choosing a window install company and I chose this company based on the reviews about their customer service and installation. The team at Houston Window Experts are just that, experts. Their level of customer service is unbeatable. Josh was our sales rep and he helped me narrow down what windows would work best for my needs and wants, and not based on what the norm was or what’s popular. He answered all my questions in detail and had a vast knowledge about all of his products that made me feel confident in my purchase. Jeremy came by to do the final measurements and was quick and efficient and he was also the one who called me to schedule my window install. Very communicative and pleasant to work with. It was an excellent experience since I and my wife walked in the place and talk with staff Jeff that we want a 14’x8’ sliding patio door. He is super nice guy, so does other staffs. They only care what you needed instead of selling you the most expensive products. Also, there were a lot of choices of different styles of doors and windows. Wow...way better than any window company or builder’s supply in town. Really appreciate the wide range of option and the fact that they didn’t push me into a particular brand or lineup. Seems like they do a lot of business but they still have a “family run” feel to them. Prices for homeowners needing installing are much better than Pella. Pricing for contractors (I’m a contractor replacing windows in my own home) is the same as the big guys like BMC or Builder’s Choice...just with better service. Couldn’t be happier.read more

This is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had with any company. They replaced 18 windows and two sets of French doors in our home and it was a smooth operation from the start. It took about three months for all the windows (Milgard) to come in, but once they did, it took one day. They were here at 8 am sharp, laid down protective floor coverings, moved furniture, and went to work. At 5:30 they finished, cleaned up and replaced furniture. Even the caulking was expertly applied and looks beautiful. We had a visit afterward from the company owner to thank us. Can’t say enough good things about them.read more

Needed patio doors, did the research, narrowed down the brands I liked, HWE carried Milgard and was the only installer not backlogged with other work. Got a good price on good terms. Install team was led by Jeremy. Very quick, very professional (very tidy!), the doors are a great fit and very temperature-retentive. Sara and Patty in the office were also very helpful. Major points for courtesy, prompt response, quick install, solid warranty (covers parts AND labor), and no shady "car salesman" techniques. Would recommend. EDIT: Liked them so much that I had them install new windows in all my frames. The windows were manufactured within a few weeks and installed promptly after, no fuss, no mess, even though some of our windows were hard to access! Wonderful!read more

Fabulous Quality Windows, Great Crew and Top Notch Craftsmanship. Last year we had all windows on the upper floor replaced and this was done to such perfection that this year we decided to have all windows on the 2nd floor and downstairs replaced. Houston Window Experts installed 9 Milguard windows for me July 2018. I could not be happier. The sales process with Jeff was great.... not pushy, very informative and no “if you order today tactics”. I had to delay the actual install for about 18 months from the initial sales visit. When I was ready, simply called them up, got an updated quote and proceeded with install. The install exceeded my expectations. The crew was fast, efficient and did a great job. By the end of the day, you would have not known they had even been there.....except I had great new windows. I would highly recommend HWE to anyone needing windows.read more

He showed a high level of integrity and explained how he could quote us and try and sell us something we didn't need but they are not in the business of trying to push customers. I can't say enough about Jeff and his team; from start to finish the process has been fantastic. When Jeff came out for our consultation his intention was on getting us informed on windows and all of the options instead of pressuring us into a purchase. He was extremely helpful in aiding us with a design that accented our home the best; we ended up choosing the Milgard windows because of their low-profile design, quality, and unbelievable warranty. Next Jeremy showed up to measure for our windows and talk us through what to expect when the install started. Jeremy was extremely courteous and professional; and has always been available to answer any questions that I've had. The day of our install Rafael and his guys arrived early and set about laying drop cloths and covering our furniture with plastic. I was particularly impressed with the care that the crew took on the install. They way that were able to remove and reinstall windows without damaging any walls or trim is truly an art form. We plan on being in our home for years to come and Houston Window Experts was definitely a worthwhile investment.read more

Houston Window Experts replaced 20 windows in our Woodlands home. Very professional installation. However, the reason I'm writing such positive review is how they handled the hick up. One of the windows was broken during installation. No excuses were given and the widow was fixed with in days. Good job guys. I highly recommend this company!read more

Professional customer service from start to finish. There was no pressure to buy at the time of our estimate. All options regarding the accessories and styles to consider for replacement of our patio doors was fully explained to my husband and myself. We had two patio doors installed within three hours. The crew was professional and arrived on time. A supervisor arrived just to make sure everything was ok. The bid we received was more than reasonable and of course, you cannot beat the quality products they install. My husband was very impressed and I cannot stop looking at my patio doors. Jeff and his team installed 20+ new Millard vinyl windows in my home in early 2014. Everything went great and I have nothing but praise for the quality of the job done. Earlier this year we noticed unusual mildew/dirt attached to the caulk on several of these windows. I contacted Jeff's office and sent a picture of the caulk to Jeremy, Jeff's master installer. Without any hesitation or resistance, Jeremy advised that this should not occur, and said he would re-caulk all of the windows, which he did earlier this week. There was no argument as to fixing this issue which was done timely and well. I applaud Houston Window Experts for their high level of customer service....3 years after the instaltion I might add....and rectifying this issue smoothly and without any hesitation. My wife and I want to share how very pleased we are. Each of the two crews were outstanding. Preparation included covering everything with plastic, drapes on all the exposed floor areas. Their cleanup was just as great, everything swept and vacuumed. Jeremy, Ben, and Raphael, the crew chiefs and ops manager, were outstanding, as they communicated every step of the way.
