The Best Vinyl Windows In Houston
There are plenty of reasons to choose vinyl windows for your window replacement project. Vinyl windows are extremely effective at reducing the transfer of outside heat into your home at a lower cost than wood, metal, or composite windows. Today’s vinyl is engineered to a much higher degree to resist fading, cracking, and warping.
Just like any product out there, vinyl windows also come in a full range of product lines and today’s video will feature the top-of-the-line offerings from three of the twenty brands we offer at Houston Window Experts; the “Classic” from Windsor, the “350 Series” from Pella, and the “Restoration” from Amsco.
The Windsor Classic
Whether your style is sleek and modern or traditional, the Windsor Classic is right at home in either setting. Many vinyl windows attempt to pull off the look of wood, but none succeed quite like the Classic, and that’s the beauty of the Classic line, it can easily be incorporated into projects alongside Windsor wood windows. Maybe you opt for wood windows on the front of the house, or the first floor and choose to cut costs by doing the rest of the house in Classic.
The Pella 350 Series
In business since 1925, Pella is one of the most recognized window manufacturers in the U.S. In 2011 Pella finally entered the vinyl window market with the launch of 350 Series windows and patio doors. Like the Windsor Classic, the 350 Series is available with simulated divided lite (SDL) grids and multiple colors with the main difference being that the 350 Series aesthetics are note quite as sleek and polished their Windsor competitor.
The Amsco Restoration Series
If low-profile is your aim, then look no further than the Amsco Restoration Series. There is a slight trade-off in getting the narrowest vinyl frame possible, unlike the Pella and Windsor options the Restoration does not have tilting sashes; but for a modern look, they’re hard to beat. The Restoration series also offers SDLs as well as grilles between the glass as options and one of the best warranties in the business.
The Restoration Series also makes use of a process called “capstock” in their black and bronze exterior colors. When the frame stock is being extruded a thin strip of colored material is laid on to the frame and then heated so that it bonds with the vinyl. The resulting finish is much more durable than a standard painted finish.
At Houston Window Experts we believe in options, that’s why we carry 20 brands of windows and doors for you to choose from. Our promise to you is to treat you with dignity and respect and provide you with the information that you need to make an informed decision about your project.
